Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Alessandra Celletti

Hans-Joachim Roedelius, who wrote and recorded an ambient work inspired by Happy Valley and has traveled from Austria twice in the last few years to perform at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, is embarking on a short US tour with Italian classical pianist Alessandra Celletti.

The two began working on a collaborative piece titled Sustanza di Cose Sperata [Substance of Things Hoped For], which they have so far only performed at a few large European festivals. They will perform together for three exclusive US shows - at Theater 39 in San Francisco (Dec. 3), Zipper Hall in Los Angeles (Dec. 5) and at St. Peter's Church in New York (Dec. 12).

Tickets for the San Francisco and Los Angeles performances are available through Amoeba Music (www.amoeba.com), while tickets for the New York performance are available through Other Music (www.othermusic.com). For those who live near San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience Roedelius live in concert. We hope to bring him back to Happy Valley to perform sometime soon!

Hope to see you at our Annual Holiday Sale!
