"I am dedicated to the pursuit of sustainability, with utility at the core of my sculpture. As a young artist I was considered a non-functional ceramic artist. Now I am considered a functional sculptor.
The works in this exhibition were all created on site at the Center and will play a huge part in how my future rain harvesting sculptures develop in form and function – and to assist the viewer in contemplating how the imitation of nature can solve complex human problems. Art and Science must work together in any way or form to move us toward a symbiotic existence between Nature and Culture.

Permanently installed at Silver Creek Town Park, a public garden in Bristol, RI.
I have been invited to demonstrate my rain harvesting sculptures, patented under the name ‘RainKeep’, at the Bioneers Conference this Fall in Marin County. The Bioneers are a group of people inspiring and realizing a shift to live on Earth in ways that honor the web of life, each other and future generations. We act as a fertile hub of social and scientific innovators with practical and visionary solutions for the world’s most pressing environmental and social challenges."
