An Artists' Reception was held Sunday, June 27th
The Ventura County Potters' Guild was founded in 1957 by students at the Ventura Community College and interested potters. In 1959 they had a pottery exhibit and served tea wearing white gloves at the Ojai Music Festival for the first time. VCPG has exhibited at the Music Festival ever since.
Today, the VCPG is a non-profit organization, promoting interest in all facets of pottery making and appreciation of the ceramic arts. The Guild today has more than 150 members and has expanded beyond Ventura to represent much of Southern and Central California.
The Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts is Open to the Public
