Learn Ballroom in a Day with Yulia Maluta & Derrick Curtis!

Yulia Maluta and Derrick CurtisLearn the most fun and popular dancer in the world: Swing, Argentine Tango, and Foxtrot. You can dance those dances pretty much to any pop, rock, and slow music. You’ll learn simple easy routines to dance with your partner. Whether it's just for fun, or you need to learn a routine for your first dance at weddings, cruises, or special event, this is a great introductory workshop to Ballroom Dancing.

The workshop is open to anyone 16 years-of-age or older. All levels and abilities welcome, couples or individuals. Participants should wear comfortable clothing. Women should wear dress shoes with a mid-heel (no stilettos), men should wear smart shoes they can turn in. The workshop will consist of three 40-minute sessions, geared for beginners to advanced ballroom dancers. You'll enjoy learning some of the most popular ballroom dances.

 

This workshop is being presented in conjunction with an exhibition in the Logan Gallery presented by Art Without Limits, a non-profit organization that provides talented emerging artists of any discipline with the skills they need to thrive in a vibrant art community.

 

Cost: $30 per person.
